In tandem with execution of Article 39 of the country’s Budget Law of 1959 and Article 38 of Social Insurances Organization and in order to invest on and utilize the workers’ premiums to provide welfare & create necessary facilities for workers, Refah Bank has been established and registered on 18/08/1960 and officially started its operations since 26/03/1961 with opening its two new branches of Tehran & Isfahan. The bank’s initial capital of I.R.R. 400 Million had been provided out of the resources of Social Security Organization. Refah Bank as a well known commercial bank with 55 years of experience in extending banking services and 10539  employees and 1076 active branches across the country is now trying to meet the satisfaction of people from all walks of life through extending different types of desirable banking services.
